288 settlements.
One province.
Then the country.
SpazaBoX is not a pilot. It's a deployment plan. We start in Limpopo — every IDP-named settlement, every village, every township — 288 nodes that the formal retail economy forgot. From year 3, the countrywide agent network activates: Gauteng, KZN, Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga — the same platform, the same discipline, the same off-grid solar backbone.
Transforming South Africa from the ground up.
South Africa has a R900bn+ informal retail market, 100,000+ spaza shops, and chronic last-mile access gaps. The state funds the Spaza Shop Support Fund. UNDP runs the DIME digitalisation initiative. But nobody builds the field implementation — the actual containers, the actual solar, the actual Merchant OS, the actual operators on the ground. SpazaBoX is that implementation. We are not a fund. We are the operator.
288 settlements. 5 districts. 22 municipalities.
We don't scatter. We saturate. Every IDP-named settlement in Limpopo — from Seshego to Thohoyandou, from Phalaborwa to Musina — gets 1–3 cluster units. Each cluster is 3–10 BoXes — a Corridor Mall, a Township Node, or a Rural Village Hub. At full saturation: 288 settlements × multiple clusters = approximately 1,584 doors deployed across Limpopo. When the last settlement is combed, the province has a complete off-grid retail grid. Then — and only then — we expand.

Aligned to real SA programmes.
SpazaBoX is the field implementation of programmes the state has already funded but can't deliver. We don't compete with the state — we complete what the state started.
